Spaghetti Bridges

Today for Inquiry we tested how strong our bridges were and it came up pretty well. Alex, Fraidon, Joseph and I worked collaboratively to make our bridge strong but unfortunately, our bridge only held 5 bricks and broke. The type of bridge that we decided to use is the truss bridge because triangle shaped, truss bridges are really strong it holds tension and load, we used triangle shapes because it will save us lots of spaghetti to use for the deck. Materials that we used: Tape, Spaghetti, Rubber Bands and lastly String, putting the tape is best way because tape can hold lots of load and can resist tension. The Span of our bridge is 26.5 cm which is good, it is not too big so it doesn't waste spaghetti and we used the left over spaghetti to make the deck.

Today for Inquiry we test our reflexes we did 3 test, the first one is visual you just need to look at the ruler and catch it. The second one is Hearing if your partner said go you need catch the ruler, but you are blindfolded. The third one is a bit hard its called tactical, you are blindfolded but your partner is going to tap you and try to catch the ruler. I work with Mele it is fun working with her. My reflexes is more faster than her. We did better on test 3 which is Tactile.

Skeletal System

Today for Inquiry we are  learning about the Body system I learn that there are 11 System functioning in our body. We also play a game about the skeletal system it is so fun because you need to assemble all of the bones.

Professor Stephen Hawking

Today we learn about Professor Stephen Hawking, Professor Stephen Hawking is a famous physicist. He was born in January 1942 in oxford and he died this 2018 cause of  Motor Neuron Diseases (MND) also known as ALS.

Standing up to bullies

This week we learnt how to stand to bullies and I made this animation with the help of Sanujan and Miki. It's fun to make animations and it has a moral which is how to stand up and speak out.
