Duffy Books

Today we get our Duffy books, Duffy books is very helpful to the students because they can practice their reading skills. I got the books called Wipe out and 500 Minutes Danger.

The Tunnel

Today for writing we did a setting introduction. Doing setting introduction you need to add dialogue to make it interesting. 

Pou Whenua

Today Me, Sky, Miki and Tiava make our Pou Wheanua for our school. Today we start doing the paint and drawing the detail again. Doing painting is really hard but we manage it even our hand is shaking. We did Really well doing painting. Thank you for Ms. Ferguson for helping us doing the painting. We did a great team work to do the painting to our Pou Whenua. 

Maths - Finding missing number

Today for maths we are solving the missing angles. Some of them is easy and some of them is a bit hard. The two lines that in each sides it is mean that all sides a re equal. You can solve this by using paper you just need to cut a triangle and put them together to see 180°.

Read Theory Graph

Today we looked at our graph for read theory. I started at Grade 3 and now I'm in Grade 4 to 5. My highest grade that I achieved is  grade 7, I worked really hard to achieve my highest grade. This year I'm going to focus to get a higher grade and knowledge points. Getting a high grade is really hard, you need to be focused reading the story and answering the questions.

Blogging

Today we commented on Karoro School and my blogging buddy is Zac. He is a good blogging but there's some mistake that I found. 

Professor Stephen Hawking

Today we learn about Professor Stephen Hawking, Professor Stephen Hawking is a famous physicist. He was born in January 1942 in oxford and he died this 2018 cause of  Motor Neuron Diseases (MND) also known as ALS.

The Great Library

There’s one little girl, Name Nana. Nana always went to the
library she loves reading books. Nana started reading books
when she was 8 years old. Reading books is a better learning
than playing games on the computer. One day Nana went to
the Great Library. it was so mysterious only some people can
go there.The great library is very unique and mysterious. The
great library has a lot of books that you can read. Nana is
so good at reading and remembering stories because she
always practices reading. Learning how to read is important to
us and It is very helpful. Nana’s parents also love reading books
they always go to the Library. Nana’s parents have over 500
books! And they have a lot of collection of books.

Today in writing we have been learning about 5 - 7 - 10 writing.

Our goal was to write a character description about a young girl

reading a lot of books. The 5 stands for 5 minutes of writing,

7 minutes of sharing your learning to others and 10 minutes of

editing our description.

Tense

Today we are learning about tense. We are looking for Past, Present and Future tenses. It is easy to find the answer for the future, doing past tense is kinda tricky but I manage it.

Lost Yet Found

Mr. Mac is lost in the forest, he’s trying to find he’s way back to the town. Mr. Mac has a map but he is confused which way he is going and where he is. Mr. Mac is really afraid that there’s a snake or other creature close by in his surroundings because there are no people that living there. Mr. Mac is really tired, he is a carrying a lot of stuff that he uses for hiking. The sun is going down so he needs to be fast to find the town soon.

Today for writing we are making are own character description. We are looking for picture that one guy is lost in the forest.

Agent Of Change

To help us set are goals we looked at how we could be Agents Of Change in our own 2018 learning journey. I will be resilient to sport and I will be responsible for my study. I will be responsible for my stuff like my Chromebook. I will be a good role model for other students.

Sketch Models

Today in tech we are we are making sketch of our phone stand.

We use Plasticine to make a 3D design of our phone stand. Plasticine needed to support a cardborad.
